For the past 30 years, Davis Mortgage & Investment Co. has been a primary source of high quality first and second deeds of trusts (also called mortgages) secured by single-family residences throughout the San Francisco East Bay Area. Private investors have enjoyed higher yields, typically from 2 to 7 percent above Bank CD rates, with low risk while diversifying their portfolio.

Davis Mortgage Investment Fund V, LLC was formed with the primary focus of bringing many small investors together to act as one large pool of investors to reduce risk and to achieve high investment yields. Many National Banks have become accustomed to achieving interest rates as high as 8 and 9 percent on loans, which they do not share with their small investors who deposit their funds to the Bank’s CD accounts. Davis Mortgage & Investment Co. shares a great deal more of their interest rate with their investors. All loans are Title Company insured and secured by Real Estate located in the San Francisco Bay Area. We, of course, cannot guarantee future results

The Mortgage Pool is managed much in the same way that a Mutual Fund is managed. The earnings can be paid monthly or reinvested and compounded for higher yields. The earnings are shared pro-rata with the changing Investor Membership. All Investors receive a copy of the “Annual Independent Certified Audited Returns”.

Our Investors participate in Davis Mortgage Investment Fund V, LLC in a number of ways. They invest their Individual Retirement Accounts, Living Trusts, Pension Plans, LLC’s, Corporations, Non-Profits and Individual Cash Accounts.
